Andrea Sarkic

Lead Public Affairs Counsellor

With 15 years of experience in public affairs, politics and strategic communications, Andrea brings consensus-building and a coast-to-coast perspective to policy files.

Having worked on numerous files involving complex and highly regulated sectors and issues such as natural resources, agriculture, transportation and labour — Andrea has acquired deep experience in reputation and issues management as well as government decision-making processes. She previously worked in a Conservative minority government where she served as a member’s assistant, communications adviser and later strategic policy adviser to the Parliamentary Secretary to the Prime Minister and Immigration and to Lisa Raitt as the former ministers of Natural Resources, Labour and Transportation.

Andrea has represented Fortune-500, multi-national, SMEs, and industry associations across all levels of government, multiple provinces from coast-to-coast, and in the northeastern U.S. Most recently, she worked in the downstream oil and gas sector — managing North American government relations for a private international refining and marketing company. Prior to her time on the east coast, Andrea focused on ESG for a multi-billion dollar natural resources capital project with a blue-chip partner on the west coast.

Hailing from Ontario and working within provinces with unique regional industries and politics, Andrea has strong relationships and understanding of several current provincial governments. As a public affairs counsellor, she helps clients navigate the complex intersection of government and public policy to get the best results for all stakeholders.

She is a golfer, runner, unwavering Leafs fan, and will be the first to jump into a lively debate.
