Samantha Thompson

Public Affairs Counsellor

Samantha has deep expertise in public affairs and strategic communications in health care, honed through her work supporting organizations in Canada’s innovative pharmaceutical sector, consumer health companies and wellness charities. She has worked across a broad range of industries as a strategic communications and government relations consultant.

Before joining the Compass Rose team, Samantha worked at a national public affairs firm, and prior to that, worked as an independent public affairs and government relations consultant. Through these experiences, she leveraged her advocacy and strategic communications expertise to drive meaningful change for her clients, ensuring their story was well understood and appreciated.

Samantha is a graduate of the University of Ottawa and Algonquin College with an Honours Bachelor in Public Relations.

In her spare time, Samantha loves to explore nature and is an avid hiker.
