Thrilled to welcome Yaprak

It’s not every day that you get to say that a mentor is now a colleague. I’m so happy and humbled to welcome Yaprak to Compass Rose!

Yaprak is respected as one of Canada’s leading public policy voices with nearly 30 years of experience working with governments, ministers and prime ministers of all stripes. She has championed diversity and mental health in the workplace - values very dear to me.

Yaprak’s presence at Compass Rose will only reinforce our belief in finding the common good. It also reminds us that the public service - where I grew up - really does matter. Yaprak will offer her usual crisp, insightful advice at a time of renewal and change in business sectors across the country, and especially in the changing federal and national landscape. Indeed Yaprak has unmatched experience in economic and social policy and a deep behind-the-scenes understanding of how decisions are made in governments nationwide.

I’m also really excited to have her guidance as we continue to evolve and refine Compass Rose’s strategic direction.

Yaprak has spent her career striving to find the common good, a mission to which her new Compass Rose colleagues remain deeply committed.

Even though we will be taking up a lot of Yaprak’s time, her followers on Instagram can rest assured that her commitment to food and golf will not waver.  Please do get in touch!

You can find Yaprak here on our site.
