Compass Rose founder Jacquie LaRocque named WXN Top 100 Most Powerful Women in Canada
LaRocque honoured in the BMO Entrepreneurs category
Today, the Women’s Executive Network (WXN) announced Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100. Compass Rose founder and principal Jacquie LaRocque has been named one of the recipients in the BMO Entrepreneurs category. The award honours community leaders at the top of their field.
Under Jacquie’s guidance and mentorship, Compass Rose is known for operating differently than the status quo, which has set the highly respected public affairs firm apart since its inception in 2015. With her support, Compass Rose’s clients have accessed millions of dollars of funding, shaped safeguards for mental health, inspired an active transition to a green economy and many other public policy wins and campaigns for the common good.
Jacquie is thrilled to be named an award winner. She is excited at another opportunity to showcase the fact that public policy is at its best when it benefits everyone and that the development of structures that empower women can enliven the economy for society as a whole.
The Women’s Executive Network selects 100 women each year who are advocates and champions for others, with the award celebrating the ability to empower and inspire. WXN commends trailblazers and groundbreakers for future generations.
Award recipients will gather on Nov. 17, when they will be formally awarded at the 20th Annual Gala at Toronto’s Fairmont Royal York.
Jacquie is available for an informative, inspiring look at what it means to be recognized as a leader, why it matters that there is still a need for women to be celebrated in the workplace and how a career that both challenges and observes perspective as a tool in public policy is so instrumental in assessing the role of empowering women in business.
